Who is Mahdi
I am a 27 years old Software Engineer focused on frontend development, with an interest in learning game and mobile development. My interest in programming did not begin with building apps or websites, but with a desire to create video games. Learning to program was the first step toward understanding how games are built and eventually creating them myself.
My approach to personal projects is to solve problems that I experience myself. When existing solutions do not work well or have issues that make me avoid using them, I try to create my own solution. The goal is not only to solve my own problem, but also to share it so others facing the same issue can benefit from it.

Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering, Near East University.

- Code Crafters 2024-2026 regular member
code Crafters was the first Software focused clubs in Near East University, and i was one of the first batch of students that joined the club. as part of this club i participated in many events from educational to practical, i joined in many boot camps worked on small project as part of the club.
- NEU AI Club 2024-2025 communication officer
as part of the NEU AI club i was the communication officer, i facilitated a smooth line of contact between the club team and the student body, further more i was the main speaker in many events.
Hobbies
In most groups, I’m usually the biggest nerd. Over time, I’ve built up a treasure trove of interests and hobbies that shape my personality and the way I approach things, from strategic thinking and teamwork to problem solving. Some are also just pure fun, because we all need a bit of whimsy every now and then.
Graphic novels
One consistent aspect of myself is that I love a good story, even in places some might not expect. Graphic novels are a great place to find amazing stories. I enjoy reading both comics and manga, whether it's something I discover online or well-established works like DC or Demon Slayer.
Books
Fantasy, sci-fi, mythology, history, or technology, a good book is always great to have in hand. I find myself gravitating toward fantasy, especially high fantasy like The Lord of the Rings, or urban fantasy like Percy Jackson.
Media
To avoid repeating myself, many of the same genres apply here, along with romcoms, romance, and documentaries. From The Lord of the Rings to Marvel and DC, anime like Demon Slayer and Horimiya, and shows like The Blacklist and Bridgerton, I enjoy exploring a wide range whenever I have the time.
Games
I've always played one kind of game or another, from Tekken with family to Counter-Strike with friends, or story-rich games like God of War, Prince of Persia, and Tomb Raider. I also grew up playing chess with my cousins and card games with my uncle. Lately, I've been hooked on D&D, where the dice never seem to be on my side.
Music
Rock, metal, classical, pop, or even songs in languages I don't understand, music has always been my companion. Whether it's from a show, game, or just something that sounds good, I enjoy it all, especially songs that tell a story or something I can turn into a story.
